The Shahnameh is important to us because it is a richly woven tapestry of the history of Persia, the fight between good and evil, of warrior kings and powerful dynasties. Read the chapter on our favorite heros: Rustom and Sorab or the story of the loyal horse, Asfandiyar. Kids too will love these stories.
