BSLC 50TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION OCTOBER 23-24

BSLC will celebrate its 50th birthday with 2 days of activities. Beginning at 12:30 PM on October 23rd, there will be a sharing of BSLC's history, opening of the time capsule, District President Stoterau, a hymnfest, and a reception. Lutheran Hour Speaker Dr. Ken Klaus will be present at the Sunday morning worship service. A barbecue lunch will be served following the service. Click here. for schedule of activities. LWML ACTIVITIES

SEPT. 11
The LWML of Beautiful Savior will begin its new year of activities on September 11th, with a Bible Study program led by Grace Timm. The meeting will be held at 10 AM in the Fellowship Hall. All BSLC women and their guests are invited to attend!
SEPT. 24
Athe Arizona LWML Zone Retreat will be held at Camp Aloma on September 24 to 26. The retreat topic is ÔCaptivatingÕ with Rev. David Brinkman as retreat leader. Reservation deadline is September 13th. Contact Connie Lee-Nunn, 480-888-9097 or connielnunn@hotmail.com.
OCT. 23
The Palo Verde Zone LWML will hold the fall rally on October 23rd at Hosanna Lutheran Church, beginning at 9 AM. Guest speaker is Mia Koehne, speaking on the theme, Lives to Worship.

FOR YOUTH:

CHILDREN'S SUNDAY SCHOOL
The Sunday School is on summer recess until September 12th. Christian Education Sunday will be celebrated on September 19th.

JUNIOR CATECHISM
This class is for baptized 7th and 8th graders. Please call office for schedule (480-967-2660).

FOR ADULTS:

ADULT SUNDAY BIBLE CLASS
What would you consider to be the 10 greatest prayers of the Bible? The LordÕs Prayer? HannahÕs Prayer where she prayed so fervently the priest thought she was drunk? Why not attend our new Sunday Adult Bible Class at 8:30 AM and discover what we can learn from Ten Great Prayers of the Bible!

ADULT INFORMATION CATECHISM CLASS, BASIC SCRIPTURAL DOCTRINE
The class teaches the basic truths of the Bible from a Lutheran perspecative. Everyone is invited to attend. The class schedule is arranged to fit participants' schedules. Contact the church office for more information, 480-967-2660.
