AzTeC Newsletter/April 2004
Greetings AzTeC Users ! In case you haven't noticed, it's springtime in Arizona. If you weren't sure, just look at the roses everywhere and the jacarunda trees in bloom! Some of you will be heading back to cold country and we wish you well. We'll continue to hold the fort until you return in the fall. We've had an upsurge in registrations and that is a good sign. Some of you have been talking to friends and neighbors and we encourage you to spread the word. Donations have been down a bit which is a bit worrisome. We really haven't had any large fund raisers as other non profits do, but we will have to consider this and other options soon. Please support us if you can as it is essential to keep our financial base solid. I want to thank Bryan Douglas for pitching in when we had to replace a computer recently, also Bob Schmidt who is working on some donated computers. Your efforts are what helps keep our community online service going. Randy continues to keep the registrations current and was quick to report a glitch today with some new user registrations. This was fixed in short order. Thanks for letting us know. One thing I have neglected to mention to our new users is that AzTeC allows only one registration per person. It has been noted that some of our users are unaware of this. If you do have more than one, please contact rwertz and tell him which one you wish to continue using. We are still looking for some new board members and have had some response. We know there are some of you out there who would be a great addition. Please consider applying. New people always bring in new ideas and ways we can improve our service. You would be most welcome. Enjoy this nice weather and remember to stop and smell the roses now and then.:) Sincerely, Nathalie Nathalie Goss President, AzTeC Board of Directors Donations can be made out to AzTeC and sent to the address below. AzTeC is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization AzTeC P.O. Box 15844 Phoenix , AZ 85060-5844
