Arizona Chapter of the Wyckoff House & Association

The Wyckoff House & Association was created to promote interest in Pieter Claesen Wyckoff, his descendants, and in the Wyckoff House Museum located in the Flatlands section of Brooklyn, New York. The Association also assembles, publishes and distributes materials and information relating to them.

Pieter Claesen Wyckoff arrived in New Amsterdam (now New York City) on March 4, 1637, on the ship Rensselaerswyck, then sailed up the Hudson River to Fort Orange (now Albany), arriving April 7, 1637.

The historic Wyckoff House (circa 1652-1819), was restored in 1982 and is one of the oldest Dutch houses in New York State, and a National Historic Landmark. The Museum is operated exclusively for charitable, literary, and educational purposes and is a living museum honoring the Dutch, who have made a significant contribution to the founding and continued growth of the United States
