Ken first began to play the trumpet in 5th grade, but he also has many other talents. He took up singing in high school along with learning to play the piano. After school he started the guitar, added the double bass at the age of 63 and both the trombone and the tuba just two years later. He was introduced to DFNHB in 1996 and we have had the benefit of many of his musical and acting skills in the band. He currently is playing the tuba.
He is an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Carefree and also a member of the Desert Foothills Theater.
