Dick began playing the the BBb tuba at 14, and played all through high school and college. Ed Spack introduced him to the New Horizons Band, which Dick joined six years ago, when he began playing the French Horn for the first time. An exciting moment for Dick was when he returned to Ohio State in 1978 for a football game and he was selected to dot the I in the Script Ohio routine - a huge honor indeed.
