24 hour Drive Thru Drug Store

ALL FOUR CORNERS LOADED WITH

CONGESTION

 

OUR NEIGHBORHOOD IS THREATENED

Safety of our children is at risk

Traffic will increase

Crime goes up

More Accidents

More Noise

Property Values go down

Chandler Land Use Element Book Guides the Decisions of the city …

 

"No more than (2) corners at major intersections not designated as commercial nodes shall be developed with retail neighborhood or community shopping centers".

Neighborhood Shopping Center should be 30,000 - 130,000

Allows for some judgement

Requires due diligence

Recognizes "public scrutiny" and "citizens involvement" is expected

 

 

STRATEGY FOR OPPOSITION

Attend City Council meetings

Council meets every second and fourth Thursday at 7:00

Meet-call-write your City Council members

Meet-call-write your Planing and Zoning Committee

Attend special meetings as required

Sign the petitions and get your neighbors to sign

Volunteer and sign up as neighborhood canvasser

We need your contribution for land use attorney fees

 

The CCSC is a neighbor group united together to keep our neighborhood a safe and  pleasant place to live.
