neighborhood and specifically opposed to the construction of a Super A large 24 hour store that will have 5 acres of shopping under one roof is not consistence with the intent of the City of Chandler Land Use Element Document. This type of intersection will create a safety hazard for our children due to the increase of traffic and crime in our area. I am asking your support to reject any regional commercial shopping center in the heart of our neighborhood. Sincerely, ________________

Date:________ Dear _______ I am a resident of Chandler and opposed to the over commercialization of my neighborhood, in particular the intersection of Queen Creek and Alma School Roads. Wal-Mart’s proposed plan for a Super Store with over 200,000 square feet under roof will cause harm to the area and threaten the lives of our children with the massive increase in traffic. This intersection already has a Basha’s and an Albertson food store. Each well over 150,00 square feet. It is obvious the City of Chandler is turning this intersection into another debacle similar to Warner and Alma School. The City of Chandler Land Use Element states "… there is no need to develop more than one or two shopping areas per arterial quadrant/intersection; in some cases there may be none." I am requesting you take appropriate action to make this intersection fall into compliance with the City of Chandler Land Use Element document and down zone the NE corner.
