Elizabeth has been dancing for 10 years. The 2006—2007 season marks her fourth year as a company member with Ballet Etudes and her second as a principal. Some of Elizabeth’s previous roles with Ballet Etudes have been a doll in Toy Shoppe, Blues 6/8, pas de trois in Faust, Can-Can which was performed at The Phoenix Symphony’s New Year’s Eve gala, and in Farandole, which was performed at Arizona Celebration of Dance. She also performed as a Princess and a wedding soloist in Cinderella, and in Peter Pan, she performed as Mrs. Darling and a Mermaid. In The Nutcracker, she has performed as Sr. Corps in Snow and Flowers, Bon-Bon Fairy, Spanish, Snow Queen, Dew Drop Fairy, and Arabian. Before training with Ballet Etudes, she studied at Mary Adams Ballet Academy. In past summers, Elizabeth has been delighted to attend summer intensives with Long Beach, Ballet Arizona, and went on scholarship to Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and State Street Ballet. Elizabeth’s motto is to “dance like there is no tomorrow.” |
