WHAT'S GROUP PSYCHOTHERAPY?
A
psychotherapy group is made up of a number of people who meet together
with a professionally trained clinician. Not every group is alike.
Groups vary in size, duration, frequency, style and makeup of members
depending on the focus and the objectives of the group. Generally,
the leader of the group meets with the prospective member to evaluate
the appropriateness of the match and if they will benefit from this type
of therapy.
